On August 3, 2008 at 10:30am special guests Le Chat Lunatique will bring their original music to the church. Poet Diane Thiel will read.

 

On August 10, 2008 at 10:30 am Bass LeRoy Lehr returns to sing for us. Pianist Azima Melita Kolin, visiting from London, will perform Bach and Scriabin. Resident poet Anthony Hunt reads.

 

On August 17, 2008 at 10:30 am soprano Michele Spiro will perform 3 German Leider with solo violin and basso continuo by Haendel. Cellist Felix Wurman and violinist Gabriel Gordon will accompany. Also, Carson Keebles will play a new work for solo trombone. Poet Frank Calabretta reads.

 

On August 24, 2008 at 10:30 am we will hear "Nasty F**ker" for flute and Electronics by Mikael Karlsson. The performers will be Christine Saari, alto flute and C flute and CK Barlow, electronics. Poet Amy Beeder reads.

 

On August 31, 2008 at 10:30 am percussion duo Hovey and Alexis Corbin will perform. Poet Chris Wren will read.

 

On September 7, 2008 at 10:30 am clarinetist James Shields will perform the Mozart clarinet concerto with the Church of Beethoven Chamber Orchestra. Poet Lisa Hase reads.

 

On September 14, 2008 the Church of Beethoven will be participating in STIR: A Festival of Words by featuring three nationally and internationally renowned poets from Northern NM--Arthur Sze, Carol Moldaw, and Renée Gregorio.

The music will be the Quartet in c Opus 18 No.4 by Beethoven performed by David Felberg, Felix Wurman and others.
