On July 27th, 2008 at 10:30 am, we inaugurate our Shostakovitch quartet
series with Quartet No.1 Opus 49 performed by David
Felberg and Ruth Bacon, violins, Ikuko Kanda,
viola and Felix Wurman, cello. In addition we will hear "Daydreamer"
by Geoffrey Hudson played by flutist Rachel Ciraldo. Poets Lisa Gill and Maureen Seaton will be writing especially for the occasion.
